Pain in the Grass (the original)

a work in progress....

I Don't Remember When,
But I Remember Where...
What started out as "Sounds of Seattle Concert Series" evolved into KISW's Pain in the Grass.

Free on Friday's at the Seattle Center Mural Amphitheater.  I must have been about 19 when I started going (1992). Went pretty consistently prob'ly '93 - '95/'96? Riding on the waves of what had just passed thru. A day late and a dollar short.

This has nothing to do with the Pain in the Grass Festival of today.  The big-bill line ups, the big-ticket festival, the crowds, that amphitheater.  Before there was KISW, there was KXRX

Special thanks and credits thus far go to You Tube, The Seattle Times and a few artists' web sights.

Not too shabby after only an hour or so of Googling.
